Job Overview

Unihealth Southwoods Hospital and Medical Center seeks a skilled Internal Auditor to join its team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the organization's internal control systems and operations are effective and compliant with corporate policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various financial, operational, and compliance audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Review and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports, providing actionable recommendations for management consideration.
  • Maintain strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify complex issues and develop solutions.
  • Foster excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate expertise in risk-based audit methodologies and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong MS Office application skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a graduate of Accountancy or related field; CPA certification is an advantage.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in internal audit, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of risk-based audit methodologies and audit reporting standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
