Job Overview

The role of a Rail Liaison Officer is to foster relationships with various stakeholders on rail-related matters. This position requires building, maintaining, and sustaining these connections to ensure successful collaboration.

This includes managing the contract management cycle, providing administrative support, controlling documents, archiving data, and managing databases to maintain knowledge management systems.

The officer must ensure compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs) and other contractual obligations. They must also support internal and external audits, participate in training and capacity-building efforts, and perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

In addition, the officer must manage people and teams based on company objectives, develop high-potential employees, coach individuals, and provide real-time coaching and mentoring on disciplinary cases.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders on rail-related matters.
  • Manage the contract management cycle, including provision of necessary administrative, logistical, and operational support.
  • Control and archive documents, handle correspondence, and support database management efforts.
  • Ensure full compliance with KPIs, performance metrics, and other contractual commitments.
  • Support internal and external audits, participate in training and capacity-building efforts, and perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
