Job Description

As a Senior Rail AFCS Engineer, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical and non-technical support to various Rail AFCS projects and initiatives assigned to the team. You must be capable of liaising and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, service providers, and other parties to fulfill project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and administrative support to Rail AFCS projects and initiatives;
  • Review and evaluate project technical design, specifications, and requirements;
  • Prepare and revise technical documentation, drawings, and reports related to hardware and software engineering design, system operations, testing, manuals for operations, maintenance, and training/orientation; and
  • Manage and oversee planning, design, execution, monitoring, review, and capturing and classification of findings and observations during testing and commissioning activities.

  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Excellent professional engineering knowledge in areas of expertise;
  • Excellent engineering design and analysis skills;
  • Excellent presentation, multi-party coordination, and facilitation skills;
  • Excellent technical communication skills (oral and written);
  • Time management skills and experience;
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously;
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of technologies, solutions, and/or applications;
  • Proven experience in training facilitation and coordination;
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, able to work independently and within a cross-functional team structure.
