Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our M&A department, you will play a critical role in managing and developing a portfolio of sellers, ensuring time-sensitive support by providing hands-on guidance from initial onboarding through to deal closure.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of sellers ($250 - $1M deal size), ensuring seamless communication and navigation through the sales process.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance throughout the transaction process, ensuring a client-centric experience.
  • Manage listings for existing sellers and support their sales journey, monitoring listing performance, fielding buyer inquiries, and providing regular updates, feedback, and recommendations to improve outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct valuation-driven analysis of client-provided P&Ls and high-level metrics to determine an appropriate valuation range, considering market benchmarks and comparable transactions.
  • Support in the management and coordination of platform-generated legal documents, such as Letters of Intent (LOIs), Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs), and Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
  • Allocate part of your time to buyer-side activities, understanding buyer needs and pairing them with relevant listings, actively engaging with high-intent buyers, and supporting them through the acquisition process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven work experience in M&A, Brokering, or a Sales role, preferably with at least 2 years' experience.
  • Proven experience undertaking business analysis and process improvement is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in a marketplace environment, digital asset sales will be considered an advantage.
  • Bachelor degree in business, commerce, or marketing will be highly regarded.
