Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Market Integration Specialist to join our team at Leslie Farms, Inc. This exciting role will involve driving the company's forward integration strategy through market research, sales planning, and relationship building.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities for hog carcasses and meat products, assessing their viability and potential for growth.
  • Develop a comprehensive sales plan, including target markets, pricing strategies, and sales channels, to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers in the meat industry, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers, to foster long-term partnerships and increase sales.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts for the supply of hog carcasses and meat products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery according to customer requirements.
  • Oversee the sales process, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with internal teams, including production, logistics, and marketing, to ensure alignment and support for our forward integration strategy.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adjusting our strategies as needed to stay ahead of the competition and maximize growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports and presentations to analyze market performance and sales results, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in market research, sales planning, and relationship building, preferably in the meat industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
