A technical professional with expertise in carton packaging estimation is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects by analyzing specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and design teams to determine job scope and manufacturing requirements.
  • Utilize historical cost data and supplier pricing to prepare quotes.
  • Maintain and update pricing databases and estimate sheets.
  • Support customer inquiries with technical and cost-related input.
  • Monitor job costing performance to refine future estimations.
  • Recommend cost-saving alternatives in materials or production processes when applicable.
Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects.
  • Working knowledge of printing processes (offset printing, color matching, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience with packaging or print production software.
  • Familiarity with structural design tools.
  • Background in packaging engineering or graphic production.
