Job Title:

Senior Taxation Accountant

About the Role:

The Senior Accountant will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage key tasks.

  1. Process financial statements for lodgement with the Australian Taxation Office.
  2. Prepare Business Activity Statements and Installment Activity Statements for lodgement with the Australian Taxation Office
  3. Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  4. Prepare tax returns, trust, partnership tax returns and End of year compliance jobs
  5. Experienced in Division 7a loans.
  6. Complete tax reporting in a timely manner
  7. Prepare and update tax provision schedules
  8. Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings and negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues
  9. Able to mentor and review work for the existing team member.
Responsibilities:

  • Good time management skills
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Accountancy or Accounting Technology; Advantage if CPA licensed
  • Has total of more than 4 years accounting and tax experience wherein 4+ year of experiences in AU tax accounting
  • Advantage if with experiences in an accounting/ audit firm
