As a seasoned tax expert, you will lead the company's tax function with utmost precision and integrity. Your role is pivotal in ensuring seamless compliance with all tax regulations. Key responsibilities include managing tax-related activities, planning, reporting, and filing, as well as identifying risks and opportunities for optimization. You will serve as the primary point of contact during audits and inspections, defending the company's tax positions while maintaining alignment with evolving regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Compliance: Act as the primary contact for all tax matters and regulatory concerns.
  • Return Filing: Prepare and ensure timely filing and payment of tax returns—monthly, quarterly, semiannually, and annually—to relevant authorities.
  • Case Management: Manage ongoing tax cases and assessments, tracking progress toward resolution in collaboration with consultants and senior management.
  • Practice Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of tax-related practices to ensure full compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify non-compliant or high-risk practices and implement corrective actions in coordination with leadership and departmental stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is an asset.
  • At least five years of experience in tax compliance, tax advisory, and tax audit.
  • Proficient knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including recent trends and updates.
  • Strong expertise in accounting standards and auditing principles.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle audits and risk assessment.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
