Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our lending systems delivery team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing technical teams and driving complex projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, design, and development, with a focus on lending or financial applications. They will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, leading code reviews, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership, overseeing system modifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and resolve issues.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as business, actuarial, finance, or technology.
  • At least 6 years of working experience in the consulting industry and/or financial services industry - banking institutions.
  • Strong expertise in software/system architecture, design, and development for lending or financial applications.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and integration approaches used in lending or financial platforms (e.g., Java).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and risk management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
