Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned network engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing wired and wireless network solutions.

As a network engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and assessing the current network infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, redundant, and dependable.

The successful candidate will collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project schedules and manage variations. You will also configure, test, and execute network cutover to ensure the delivered solution meets the requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and execute wired and wireless network solutions
  • Assess and improve the current network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules
  • Configure, test, and execute network cutover
Requirements:Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies including vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco/Meraki, HP-Aruba, and Palo Alto
  • Current certifications in Fortinet Firewall/SD-WAN (FCSS), FCP (Switching and Wireless), and/or Aruba Switching/Wireless Stack (ACSA, ACMP) or equivalent certification
  • At least 5+ years in a network engineering role
  • Previous role with an IT&T System Integrator, Professional Consulting Services, Internet Services Provider or similar organisation
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
