As a senior server infrastructure network engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and delivering world-class server infrastructure solutions to our customers. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive excellence in global standardization, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement multi-vendor server infrastructure platforms, ensuring the highest level of performance, reliability, and security.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Perl, and Python to support migration, monitoring, and routine operations.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Puppet and Ansible for system configuration, deployment, and scaling.
  • Collaborate with the Global Server Life Cycle Management team to plan and execute Virtual Machine (VM) migrations across multiple environments with minimal downtime.
  • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems supporting production workloads, including software updates and capacity upgrades.
  • Support the decommissioning of legacy systems, including service removal, data sanitization, and e-waste compliance.
  • Document and maintain accurate system, process, and migration records.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, or similar).
  • Proven expertise with hypervisors: Proxmox VE and VMware vSphere/ESXi.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Perl; Python a plus).
  • Practical experience with infrastructure automation (Puppet, Ansible).
  • Track record of successful VM migrations in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of change management practices (MOPs, CMRs).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in virtualized and Linux environments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including out-of-hours maintenance windows.
