Technical Support Specialist Role

A skilled technical support specialist is needed to provide expert assistance to automotive technicians at dealerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.

This role requires exceptional customer service skills, the ability to think critically, and effective problem-solving under pressure. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers and technicians in diagnosing and resolving vehicle technical issues via phone, email, or chat.
  • Analyze reported problems, identify root causes, and provide clear, actionable solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions using the company's CRM system.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance product quality and meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Education: 2-4 year Automotive Technology program (certificate or degree) preferred, or equivalent job experience.
  • Certifications: State or ASE Certified.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician (dealership preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and provide effective solutions under pressure.
