Production Planning Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing data from previous months, actual sales, production loading and capacity, inventory, backorders (open orders) and forecast accuracy for all locally produced products.

  • You will generate the Master Production Schedule for the month and submit it to the Supply Chain Manager, then to the Head of Operations Strategy for approval before cascading it to the concerned departments.
  • Regularly coordinate with Target Markets and Customer Service for the current month's forecast and confirmed Sales Orders to be dispatched.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning and Procurement in conducting S I & OP meetings on forecasts for Locally produced products.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Target Market and Marketing for any changes made in sales forecast based on Projects and Promotions on a weekly and daily basis.
  • Reviews regularly all A's and B's items using ABC analysis. Establishes and reviews quarterly, if needed, any changes in safety stocks, replenishment point and production lead time for all locally produced products.
  • Monitors the stock movement daily for all locally produced products.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of production planning software.
