Financial Accountant Role

The primary role of a Financial Accountant involves overseeing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project finances, including budgets, forecasts, and actual expenses.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Coordinating with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submissions of invoices and other financial documents.
  • Performing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in accounting or related field, with certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
