Accounting and Financial Expert Wanted

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of IFRS16 accounts. This involves working closely with other departments to ensure that financial schedules are up-to-date and accurate. Your attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve errors will be crucial in this role.

You will also be responsible for performing reconciliations of IFRS16 accounts and ensuring that all processes are followed accurately. This will involve working closely with stakeholders and points of contact to ensure that all requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of assigned countries for IFRS16 reporting/accounts
  • Update accounting schedules (IFRS16) based on lease updates on a timely manner
  • Perform reconciliation of IFRS16 accounts
  • Ensure that the IAS17 reversals entries accuracy and completeness
  • Test lease data accuracy (e.g., Lease payments, Lease dates & etc.)
  • Develop close working relationship with country stakeholders and points of contact
  • Suggest improvements and automation to existing processes based on business requirements
  • Submit audit requirements on a timely manner
  • Ensure all processes are accurate and followed
  • Understand, meet or exceed KPI's
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
  • Experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Experience in lease accounting within a multinational, shared service environment (Knowledge of IFRS16 reporting is an advantage)
  • Experience in building strong relationships with peers and finance leaders
  • At least 3 years' experience in Finance and Accounting/Lease Accounting
  • Good knowledge in using MS Excel
