Job Description

The role of a Learning Experience Designer involves providing thought leadership in the application of instructional design strategies and methodologies, with particular emphasis on scoping, analysis, design, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting learning needs analyses to identify situations addressable by training solutions and working closely with SMEs and project team members, effectively communicating progress and risks.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and ensure alignment around key priorities and initiatives. You will also be responsible for keeping track and reporting results of learning initiatives up to 90 days after implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct robust learning needs analyses to identify situations addressable by training solutions
  • Work closely with SMEs and project team members to effectively communicate progress and risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and ensure alignment around key priorities and initiatives
  • Keep track and report results of learning initiatives up to 90 days after implementation
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or a closely related course, or equivalent experience. A Master's degree in Instructional Design, Distance Education, or Educational Technology is a plus. Additionally, you should have at least 3-5 years of experience in designing learner-centered training programs and developing related training materials, as well as a working knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and evaluation principles and practices.

You should also have experience in drafting measurable training goals and learning objectives, developing appropriate learning assessment strategies and instruments, and working with E-Learning design principles, practices, and platforms (LMS).
