Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Engineering Assistant. As part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical and documentation support for ongoing projects.
Responsibilities will include creating and editing 2D drawings using AutoCAD, preparing diagrams and layouts in Microsoft Visio or similar tools, assisting with developing cutsheets, wiring diagrams, and schematics, organizing and maintaining engineering documentation and project files, conducting light technical research, and supporting the engineering team with other documentation or technical tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities- Create and edit 2D drawings using AutoCAD
- Prepare diagrams and layouts in Microsoft Visio or similar tools
- Assist with developing cutsheets, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Organize and maintain engineering documentation and project files
- Conduct light technical research
- Support the engineering team
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience with Microsoft Visio or other diagramming software
- Familiarity with electrical or mechanical engineering principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in engineering support is preferred but not required
- Part-time remote position
