Job Description:

As a Senior Supply Chain Accountant at Peerless Products Manufacturing Corp., you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our inventory management processes. This includes heading the analysis and validation of monthly inventory reports, as well as computing material variances, transfer variances, roll forward variances, and formulation variances across different departments within our Supply Chain.

  • This involves reconciling underlying transactions, vouching for supporting documents, and inquiring with involved personnel to ensure the integrity of our records;
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining separate records of monthly inventory movements, including receipts and returns from suppliers, transfers between departments and/or plants, consumption and/or usage, etc.;
  • Your coordination with Supply Chain heads and/or in-charges will focus on variance investigation, timeline of monthly inventory reports, communication of issues noted, and proposal of resolutions;
  • You will conduct regular management reporting to our Vice-President and/or President, highlighting findings from review and validations of inventory reports with proposals for process improvements and resolutions to identified issues;
  • Additionally, you will assist in leading and coordinating the migration from manual to ERP system across our Supply Chain departments;
  • Your fieldwork will involve meeting with personnel at our two plants, inspecting facilities, and facilitating regular inventory count processes;
  • You will also perform ad hoc works and execute projects such as creating templates for inventory management, structuring processes, and identifying key performance indicators related to Supply Chain - Accounting.
