Job Title: Team Lead & Maintenance Specialist

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate a team of skilled maintenance technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance, efficiency, and safety protocols.
  • Assign tasks to the maintenance staff and prioritize activities to meet deadlines and minimize production downtime.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and coaching to enhance the skills and capabilities of the maintenance team.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of maintenance staff, offering constructive feedback for improvement and professional growth.
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery based on preventive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to optimize machine performance, reduce production downtime, and ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage emergency repairs and unplanned maintenance work to minimize disruption to production operations.
  • Lead the planning of major repairs and maintenance projects, including resource allocation and timeline management.
Equipment & Facility Management:
  • Ensure all plant equipment, machinery, and systems are well-maintained, operating efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities to detect mechanical issues and required repairs or upgrades.
  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of new equipment or machinery in the facility.
  • Restore equipment to full working condition after repairs.
Safety & Compliance:
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections of equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company safety policies.
  • Maintain high environmental, health, and safety standards in all maintenance activities.
Budget & Inventory Management:
  • Oversee the procurement of parts, tools, and materials needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Track and control inventory of spare parts, ensuring sufficient stock levels for routine and emergency repairs.
  • Order maintenance supplies to prevent delays and optimize resource utilization.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor maintenance operations' performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and review maintenance reports for management, including performance metrics and cost analysis.
  • Track maintenance issues, downtime, and work orders, reporting trends and suggestions for improvements.
