Financial Analysis Position

The role of the Senior Financial Analyst involves conducting in-depth financial analyses to identify trends, optimize operations, and inform strategic decisions.

This position requires collaboration with senior management to develop reports that provide critical insights into revenue growth, client relationships, and expense management.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex financial data to gain a deep understanding of past, present, and future operations.
  • Develop expertise in our financial projection model to ensure accurate and timely forecasting.
  • Create detailed financial models to support decision-making and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Finance to plan and implement projects that drive business results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting principles and best practices to maintain a high level of technical knowledge.
  • Identify and address financial discrepancies through thorough analysis and effective reconciliation.
  • Recommend financial actions based on sound accounting principles and business acumen.
  • Support budgeting processes by collecting and analyzing financial data from various systems.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Business Intelligence (BI) to design and maintain user reports that drive business insights.
  • Utilize internal software and metrics to provide actionable data and analyses to support business decisions.
  • Perform other reporting duties as needed to support business objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information related to customers, team members, and management.
Requirements

To excel in this role, an individual must possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Expert-level Excel skills to create complex financial models and analyses.
  • Strong accounting skills, including experience with general ledgers, financial statements, and reconciliations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience of at least 4 years in progressive finance roles.
