Job Description

The Financial Analyst role is a critical position within our organization. In this capacity, you will be responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts and related activities to produce accurate financial statements and reports.

Key responsibilities include performing account reconciliations and analyses, preparing journal entries, and reviewing accounting classifications in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles.

You will also be involved in the monthly/quarterly 'close' process, ensuring timely completion of tasks and accurate data entry.

Additionally, you will prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits, demonstrating expertise in accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently to complete tasks without established procedures
  • Act as a resource for others, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Coordinate others' activities to ensure seamless workflow
  • Apply knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
  • Demonstrate great depth of knowledge/skills in own function
  • Sometimes act as a technical resource to others in own function
  • Proactively identify solutions to non-standard requests
  • Solve moderately complex problems on own
  • Work with team to solve complex problems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • College graduate (any accounting-related course)
  • 1+ years of accounting experience
  • Extensive work experience within own function
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, especially Excel
