Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Information Security Risk Specialist to perform comprehensive audits, identify control gaps and implement corrective action plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure alignment of security policies/standards with IT infrastructure frameworks through meticulous analysis and consultation.
  • Monitor compliance with corrective action plans and address non-compliance issues promptly.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of discovery technologies to identify system vulnerabilities and develop strategic mitigation plans.
  • Establish robust security controls based on defined data classifications, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Facilitate/lead thorough security incident investigation, leveraging expertise to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Analyse complex business requirements, ensuring that solutions meet established security policies and controls while driving business value.
  • Maintain accurate metrics, provide timely reporting, and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders/end users through various communication channels, fostering strong relationships and trust.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher level of education from an accredited institution.
  • At least 6 years of Information security experience, including hands-on experience with ISO27001 (ISMS), ISO31000 (Risk management), HITRUST CSF, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, SOC Type1/2.
  • Proven auditing skills and the ability to manage risk assessments/projects independently, exercising sound judgment and discretion.
  • Preferable CISSP, CISA or ISO27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights.
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly the ability to present technical information in an engaging and accessible manner.
