About the Role

A Loan Manager is responsible for guaranteeing that all set objectives of management in terms of loan releases are met, considering policies, guidelines, procedures, and internal controls.

The role involves establishing an agent base to generate loan applications and achieving goals set by management. The Loan Manager must adhere to existing internal control procedures and regulatory policies while maintaining high-quality service and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise loan center operations, including cleanliness, supply management, client handling, and adherence to bank and regulatory policies.
  • Develop and motivate personnel to meet performance standards.
  • Establish and maintain a pool of agents with good working relationships.
  • Maintain a solid pool of account sources to sustain target releases.
  • Formulate strategies to meet monthly targets and sustain good business.
  • Recruit, develop, and maintain agents.
  • Monitor and report on loan center operations, including received accounts, status, and agent/client concerns.
Performance Evaluation:
  • Evaluate performance based on Key Result Areas (KRAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Key Process Audits (KPAs).
  • Track recruitment and activation of Bank Loan Agents, accreditation of Loan Agents, and activation of Accredited Loan Agents.
  • Monitor accounts processed, received, and submitted for approval, as well as loan releases and amount released.
  • Ensure proper use and care of office equipment, facilities, and supplies.
  • Keep confidential files safe and secured from unauthorized access.

This position requires strong account-sourcing skills, ability to manage internal and external customers, and rational decision-making capabilities.

Qualified candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Administration, Management, Banking, and Finance or equivalent.

Preferably 3 years of extensive experience in Sales and Marketing from a reputable banking/financial services industry.
