Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking an accomplished financial professional to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reconciliations and maintaining audit-ready records.

  • Lead the month-end close process, guaranteeing timely preparation of comprehensive financial reports.
  • Mentor and manage a team of approximately 7 finance and accounting staff members.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and DCAA standards in financial reporting and accounting practices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auditing, advanced expertise in financial and project accounting, proficient Excel skills, and hands-on experience with Deltek VantagePoint.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Accountants on project status reviews, margin analysis, and billing support.
  • Oversee and maintain the Deltek VantagePoint system, including report development, optimization, and accuracy of the General Ledger (GL) and Project Ledger.
  • Review bi-weekly payroll for accuracy; resolve complex issues, approve monthly reconciliation & journals.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, minimum 7 years of experience as a Controller, and in-depth knowledge of GAAP and Project Accounting.
