Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of products.

Your primary responsibility will be to operate designated machines and computer systems to perform assigned packaging operations. You must ensure good quality throughout the process.

You will be responsible for folding items, placing them into bags, sealing the bags, and labeling the boxes. You will also count and verify the packaged units to ensure accuracy.


Responsibilities
  • Folding: Ensures correct label information is printed, folds the item, places it into the bag, and seals the bag.
  • Boxing: Properly labels the box, neatly packages, and ensures the correct count. May include reporting finished counts in the system.
  • Quality Control: Verifies the packaged units to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Machine Operation: Operates designated machines to perform assigned packaging operations.
  • Teamwork: Coordinates with supervisor on daily needs and assignments.
  • Maintenance: Performs general housekeeping duties for products and assigned areas.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Basic Math Skills with the Ability to Count Accurately.
  • Leadership Skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Ability to Work at a High Degree of Efficiency and Quality.
  • Ability to Perform Repetitive Movements Throughout an 8-Hour Shift.
  • Good Dexterity Required.
  • Detail-Oriented with the Ability to Learn and Match Different Style Numbers to Meet Production Levels.
  • Able to Lift Up to 50 Lbs.
  • Must Have Ability to Operate Machinery.
  • Effective Communication Skills Required.
