This role involves working on various software quality assurance tasks, ensuring the development of high-quality applications. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated test solutions to guarantee the reliability and stability of our web applications.

  • Designing and developing automated tests for our web applications using WebDriverIO, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Contribute to our testing framework by implementing the Page Object Model (POM) and creating reusable components and utilities to keep our codebase clean and maintainable.
  • Improving test reliability by handling complex scenarios involving iFrames, multiple windows, and asynchronous operations.
  • Developing and integrating API tests within the WebDriverIO framework to ensure comprehensive end-to-end test coverage.
  • Ensuring that automation scripts are integrated into our CI/CD pipelines and analyzing test results to troubleshoot failures and ensure quality gates are met for every release.
  • Collaborating with developers and product managers in an Agile environment and participating in code reviews to drive the team's overall testing strategy.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years focused on test automation.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern features like async/await and Promises.
  • Hands-on experience with any JS-based testing framework; deep experience with WebDriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of the Page Object Model (POM) and experience building scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows, including branching, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
  • Critical ability to automate API tests and understand RESTful services.
  • A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
