We are growing rapidly, doubling in revenue every year, and need your expertise to ensure our main feature development team delivers high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers.

As a seasoned Software Engineer Team Lead/Manager, you will be responsible for managing remotely the engineers in the main feature development team and those to be hired, focusing on the team's overall health and outcomes.

You will partner with Product Managers and other leaders across Engineering to craft our roadmap, processes, and goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the main engineering team to develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems that meet customer needs.
  • Promote good engineering practices within the team and across the organization.
  • Identify and implement improvements to our products and processes to drive growth and innovation.
  • Focus on team health and personal development, ensuring each team member reaches their full potential.
  • Coordinate the delivery of features from the roadmap through each stage of the development cycle.
Requirements:
  • Ambitious Software Engineers with experience designing and shipping large-scale systems, preferably using Ruby on Rails, React/Vue, and AWS.
  • Proven leadership skills, having managed teams and driven outcomes, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
  • A strong advocate for excellence in software engineering as a craft, fostering a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and growth.
