Job Overview:

The Software Infrastructure Specialist will play a pivotal role in expanding our Research & Development team by collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our .NET/C# multi-tenant SaaS software platform hosted in Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Respond to alerts, investigate issues, and identify root causes to ensure the stability and reliability of the SaaS environment.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate provisioning and management.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable software releases.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to containerize applications and scale them efficiently.
  • Cloud Management: Optimize cloud resources on Azure for cost, security, and performance.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for system and application availability, performance, and security.
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to implement best practices for security, compliance, and vulnerability management.
  • Scripting and Automation: Write scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of major cloud service provider operations experience is required.
  • Experience maintaining, scaling, and operating a consumer multi-tenant offering is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a SaaS organization is required.
  • Proven experience with containers and container orchestrations systems (Kubernetes and Helm Charts) is required.
