Social Media Content Specialist Job Description

Our company is seeking an exceptional Social Media Content Specialist to join our team. As the primary social media expert, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that drives engagement, grows followers, and increases traffic to our corporate websites.

This key contributor will support and collaborate on all marketing, sales, and business development initiatives. Your role will involve:

  • Crafting compelling social media captions, polls, posts, share text, and other written media to captivate our audience
  • Organizing, managing, and producing the entire social media content calendar to ensure consistent branding and messaging
  • Tracking, measuring, optimizing, and prioritizing social media marketing efforts to maximize ROI
  • Using the latest techniques and tools to grow followers on social media platforms
  • Creating high-quality images of our products, spaces, and employees with informative and visionary captions
  • Collaborating with the executive team to increase traffic to our corporate websites
  • Monitoring our competitors' online presence and leveraging best practices to stay ahead

In order to excel in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional social media savvy and technical skills
  • Avid interest in technology and digital marketing
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in building and maintaining a brand/page on social media
  • Experience in marketing on social media, advertising, or digital marketing (samples required)
  • Precise attention to detail and passion for refining your craft
  • Excellent writing and editing skills to draft engaging social media content
  • Ability to create reports/metrics and explain status during meeting presentations
  • Strong task management and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingsness to learn, adapt, and remain highly motivated
  • Discipline to work remotely and maintain productivity
