Medical Billing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to play a critical part in ensuring patients receive accurate and timely billing information.

This role is responsible for proactively communicating with patients regarding their financial responsibilities, providing clear explanations of billing statements, and assisting with the setup of payment plans when needed. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

  • Prior experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare accounts receivable is required.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is necessary.
  • The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, accuracy, and time management abilities.
  • Able to manage sensitive patient information with integrity and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards.

This role requires the use of various software systems, including billing software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also essential.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as a customer service mindset with empathy and professionalism.
