Job Description

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Lead to lead the quality assurance strategy across teams, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability of our web and software products.

This role will involve mentoring QA engineers, driving automation initiatives, and collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to align QA efforts with company goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership presence, be able to define best practices, elevate QA standards, and guide the team in delivering a seamless and high-quality user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the QA Automation team in defining and implementing testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices across all projects.
  • Drive test planning, prioritization, and execution of both manual and automated testing across frontend, backend, and mobile systems.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reusable automated test scripts that simulate end-to-end user interactions across platforms.
  • Monitor automation test coverage and execution results, ensuring issues are identified early and release cycles are efficient and reliable.
  • Review test results and quality metrics, prepare leadership-level reports and recommendations for quality improvements and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain and enhance the automation framework, testing tools, and CI/CD integrations to support continuous testing.
  • Mentor QA engineers and foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the QA team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle and release workflows.
  • Proactively identify gaps in quality processes and lead initiatives for operational excellence and innovation in QA practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing and at least 1 year of experience in leading a team.
  • Development and execution of test plans and scenarios.
  • Experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, Robot Framework.
  • Testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms.
  • Source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc.
