Payroll Specialist III Job Description

The Payroll Specialist III role involves providing quality and efficient payroll, benefits, and HR administration to clients.

This position requires performing a full range of customer out-sourced activities within our managed services offering. Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining new hires and terminations, leave administration, third-party maintenance, reporting, liaising with vendors and government agencies, calendar of events, change controls, inquiry management, and year-end processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain client data, including new hires and terminations, leave administration, and third-party maintenance.
  • Liaise with vendors and government agencies to ensure compliance and timely processing.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as reporting, calendar of events, and change controls.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Previous customer service experience in a deadline-driven work environment.
  • Certification in payroll or willingness to obtain within 18 months.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge of PC literacy and software usage, ideally Word, Excel, and the Internet.
