The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:
- Strategic Planning: Prepare long-term plans and programs for the water distribution unit, ensuring effective utilization of resources and meeting business objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve issues related to district metered areas (DMAs) flow and pressure, proposing corrective actions to address identified problems.
- Data Analysis: Examine water supply and pressure data within the business area, preparing reports and recommendations for appurtenances checking and map updating.
- Material Management: Monitor materials usage and withdrawal, submitting annual materials requirements (AMR) to approvers for review and approval.
- Expense Control: Recommend and monitor expenses and resources for planned projects, ensuring efficient allocation of funds.
- Inter-Unit Coordination: Collaborate with other business units to provide support and ensure seamless operations.
- Project Proposal Development: Consolidate project proposals, preparing complete technical documents and requirements for budget allocation.
- External Relations: Coordinate with local government units, Department of Public Works and Highways, and Metro Manila Development Authority regarding project implementation.
- Quality Assurance: Validate suspected illegal connections and issue Notice of Investigation Report (NIR).
- Schedule Management: Propose work schedules for the team, subject to approval by the Technical Head.
- District Meter Reading: Ensure the reading of district meters and fire hydrants.
- Diagnostics: Conduct diagnostic activities to identify and resolve operational issues.
- CMMS Support: Assist in creating Maintenance Orders (MO), generating and approving Materials Request Slips (MRS) in Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) for materials withdrawal.
- Customer Communication: Utilize Automated Customer Communication (ACC) system, monitoring advisories and preparing reports.
- Process Improvement: Act as a resource person or Business Process Owner (BPO) for planning, design, and review of processes for improvement.
