We are seeking a talented Water Systems Engineer to enhance our hydraulic modeling and civil design team. As a junior water engineer, you will work on a wide variety of global projects, including wastewater and stormwater catchment studies, nature-based regenerative solutions, flood risk and river health analysis, civil structures, wastewater and stormwater treatment, and environmental flood mitigation projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be working on technical delivery teams across various global projects, collaborating with local and international experts.
  • You will have the opportunity to specialize in hydraulic modeling, gain experience in software like Innovyze ICM suite, SAGIS, ArcGIS, MIKE, and Tuflow, and develop your digital skills, including Python and FME.
  • You will contribute to delivering innovative solutions on both local and catchment scales, founded on nature-based systems and novel, low-carbon technology.

Requirements

  • Background in civil, sanitary, or environmental engineering, or any related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Confidence in communicating at all levels of the organization.
  • A recognized engineering professional qualification (PRC license).
  • Ideal knowledge in GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS/ArcMap, or similar software) and experience within hydraulic modeling of wastewater networks.
  • Experience delivering flooding assessments and assessing catchment risks is a plus.
