Design Safe Access Systems

This role involves creating compliant and usable safe access systems. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of height safety standards and equipment.


  • Utilize CORELDraw to design safe access systems.
  • Exceed client expectations with timely quote submissions.
  • Maintain CRM system and paperwork systems in an orderly fashion.
  • Build technical knowledge and keep up-to-date with current relative standards and industry design standards.
  • Ensure accuracy of costings and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Qualify incoming quote opportunities and maintain records of disqualified opportunities.
  • Set up & maintain qualified opportunities in CRM system & Cloud based file system.
  • Design & scope roof safety systems by reviewing documentation, building plans, and discussing with sales reps.
  • Complete accurate costings for the scope provided and obtain double checking by sales reps.
  • Manage the workload of quotes to be done.
  • Liaise with sales relevant consultants to decide what to quote and prioritize quotes.
  • Revise quotes as required to assist sales reps meet client needs and win orders.

General Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical knowledge and maintain notes in orderly and traceable fashion.
  • Complete paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Respond to electronic communications and plan tasks for the following day.
  • Participate in maintaining a tidy office environment.
  • Attend training and actively participate in learning new skills or enhancing current competencies. Train team on newly acquired competencies or skills as required.
  • Support sales reps to achieve sales targets.

Requirements:
  • Experience in construction roles such as architecture, drafting, or estimating is beneficial.
  • Excellent spatial awareness.
  • Ability to visualize and understand mechanical principles.
  • Ability to read and understand plans.
  • Keyboarding skills of 35 wpm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of building & construction industry.
  • Positive attitude and good team player.
  • Respectful and conscientious personality.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to achieve targets agreed with management.
  • Dedication, initiative, persistence, and consistency.
  • Proficiency in Corrflow, Corel, and Trello.
