Junior Automation Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Manila as a Junior Automation Engineer. This role is part of our software quality assurance and testing team, responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.

About This Role

This position requires strong knowledge of Java and JavaScript, with a willingness to learn and work with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Jmeter, JUnit, and TestNG. Experience in CI/CD concepts and excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using standard automation tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate software solutions into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Investigate and debug test failures, providing detailed reports and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues promptly.
  • Work with the Test Architect to design and implement the Automation framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in QA automation or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
  • Willingness to learn and work with test automation tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • eCommerce retail experience is desirable.
  • Experience in performance testing and security testing is beneficial.
