We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager and play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and AR reporting.

About the Job:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or tech company. The successful candidate will have advanced experience in Netsuite and MS Excel, as well as strong knowledge of revenue recognition and billing best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices based on sales orders, including volume-based billing metrics
  • Generate and issue credit notes in accordance with company policies
  • Record and reconcile incoming customer payments on a timely basis
  • Review customer agreements and ensure billing schedules align with contract terms
  • Support revenue recognition reviews and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Analyze AR aging reports to proactively address collection risks
  • Collaborate with Account Management teams to resolve client billing or payment issues
  • Prepare reports related to AR, collections, and invoicing for both finance and senior leadership

Requirements:
  1. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or tech company
  2. Advanced experience in Netsuite and MS Excel
  3. Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and billing best practices
  4. Familiarity with internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO) and financial compliance standards
  5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and geographies
