Purchasing Officer/Procurement Officer at Crackerjack Corporation

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Officer/Procurement Officer to join our team at Crackerjack Corporation. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for procurement and supply chain management to take on a challenging role in a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management:
    • Source reliable suppliers based on factors such as quality, price, delivery time, and financial stability.
    • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
    • Manage supplier relationships and performance to maintain quality standards and delivery schedules.
  • Purchasing Process:
    • Process material requests from departments and obtain necessary approvals by providing necessary documents and additional attachments.
    • Submit Material Requisition Form (MRF) to Finance department for the processing of purchase orders to suppliers.
    • Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the purchasing process.
  • Cost Control:
    • Analyze and evaluate supplier quotes to identify the most cost-effective options.
    • Implement cost-saving measures, such as negotiating volume discounts or exploring alternative suppliers.
    • Monitor purchasing expenses and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Coordinate with inventory management personnel to ensure adequate stock levels of purchased items.
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
    • Implement inventory forecasting techniques to anticipate future requirements.
  • Quality Control:
    • Establish and enforce quality standards for purchased goods and services.
    • Conduct quality inspections of incoming materials.
    • Work with suppliers to address any quality issues.
  • Contract Management:
    • Prepare and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly defined.
    • Monitor contract compliance and address any issues that may arise.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to purchasing.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities.
  • Others:
    • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
