Advise customers on meat selection, cooking methods, and proper storage.
Maintain stock levels of meats, ensuring fresh products are available and properly stored.
Weigh and package meat for sale, labeling with appropriate pricing and product information.
Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with other team members to provide excellent service to customers.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and meat preparation techniques.
Familiarity with butchery tools, knives, and safety protocols.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy meat cuts and operate equipment.
