Infrastructure Upgrade Opportunity

KCAs province-wide ISP infrastructure is undergoing a major upgrade to enhance scalability, resilience, and observability.

The selected candidate will lead the design and deployment of cutting-edge BNG, edge, and access platforms.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Designing and deploying BGP edge routers with advanced features such as RPKI/ROV, uRPF, Flowspec, and RTBH.
  • Setting up IPoE BNG systems with per-sub QoS enforcement, DHCPv6-PD, and IPv6-first routing.
  • Integrating OLTs via ACS (GenieACS) and TR-069, with Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP).
  • Implementing an observability stack consisting of Prometheus, Grafana, sFlow/NetFlow, and Alertmanager.
  • Designing, testing, and validating edge ACLs, scrubbing integration, and anomaly detection alerts.
Qualifications for Success:
  • At least 5 years of experience in ISP-grade routing/switching, preferably with FRR, VyOS, or OcNOS.
  • Mastery of BGP/OSPF, PPPoE/IPoE, uRPF, QoS, NAT, and AAA.
  • A working knowledge of Proxmox, Linux, and containerized monitoring (Docker/Prometheus stack).
  • Familiarity with optical fiber networks, OLT/ONU provisioning, and VLAN planning.
