Job Title: Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts receivable process, from receipt of payments to processing and posting of invoices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Processing Invoices: You will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
  • Paying Customers: You will follow up on, collect, and allocate payments for credit card customers, communicate with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans.
  • Managing Accounts: You will maintain accurate records regarding payments and account statuses, perform account reconciliations by making sure prepaid customers have no outstanding balances on their account, research and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with Colleagues: You will work extensively with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms, create reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses.
  • Administrative Tasks: You will perform administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable/Payable and/or General Accounting experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word and Outlook, strong Netsuite experience in functions for AR and AP process, and expertise in Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Strong verbal, written, and communications skills, ability to work well under pressure, and excellent time management skills.
