MEP Drafter Role

This position involves creating detailed and accurate MEP shop drawings using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive designs that meet project requirements and collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing detailed MEP shop drawings based on project specifications
  • Collaborating with design teams to ensure designs are accurate and meet project requirements
  • Utilizing industry-standard software for drafting and design tasks
  • Interpreting architectural and engineering plans to integrate MEP systems effectively
  • Reviewing drawings to ensure compliance with local building codes and project requirements
  • Maintaining organized documentation and version control for all drawings

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP
  • Experience in MEP drafting (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
  • Understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively
