About This Role

As a Director of Software Engineering, you will lead our team in developing and delivering technical solutions that drive business outcomes.

This role is ideal for an experienced leader who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and make strategic decisions to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality products.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a team of software engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to help them grow professionally.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and mitigate technical risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop innovative solutions to drive business success.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 6 years in leadership roles.
  • Skills: Strong technical expertise, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and experience with agile development methodologies.
