Job Title: Software Engineer for Virtualisation and Cloud Infrastructure

We are looking for a skilled software engineer to join our team, specializing in virtualization and cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing software solutions that enable seamless integration between virtualized environments and cloud-based systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, with expertise in programming languages such as Go, Rust, and C/C++. You will also have experience working with virtualization technologies, including containerization and hypervisors.

In this role, you will work closely with our distributed team to design and develop new features, conduct security analysis and reviews, create performance benchmarks, and collaborate on code development. You will also engage with upstream communities and contribute to open-source projects related to virtualization and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new features, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and performance
  • Collaborate with our distributed team to develop and optimize software solutions
  • Conduct security analysis and reviews to ensure the integrity of our systems
  • Create and monitor performance benchmarks to optimize our software

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong background in programming languages, including Go, Rust, and C/C++
  • Experience working with virtualization technologies, including containerization and hypervisors
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a distributed team
