Job Title: Senior GL Accountant

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our team. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including month-end close procedures, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • You will review and prepare monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries, prepare Cost Plus JEs, funding, and cash projections, perform day-to-day accounting processes, and reconcile bank activities.
  • In addition, you will assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors, facilitate PBCs for external and internal auditors, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for month-end close, reconciliation, and reporting procedures.
    • Review and prepare monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries.
    • Prepare monthly Cost Plus JEs, funding, and cash projections.
    • Perform day-to-day accounting processes, including fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and certain accruals.
    • Reconcile bank activities and prepare journal entries for bank reconciliations.
    • Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors.
    • Facilitate PBCs for external and internal auditors.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
    • 5 years of General Ledger experience.
    • Strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange.
    • Strong understanding of accounting operations and close procedures.
    • NetSuite experience is highly desirable.
    • Highly detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to meet assigned deadlines and work independently with minimal direction from manager.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
    • Professional attitude, strong technical accounting experience, and ability to problem-solve.
