About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Generate and review aged debt reports to identify overdue payments
- Clear receipts and match them with corresponding payments
- Contact clients via phone and email regarding outstanding invoices
- Negotiate payment commitments and follow up to ensure timely payments
- Perform credit checks on new clients and update credit limits accordingly
- Liaise with the finance team to resolve any payment discrepancies
- Monitor and report on collection progress to senior management
- Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Knowledge of credit checks and debt collection processes
