Data Analyst Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track the effectiveness of training activities.

This role involves developing and administering pre- and post-training assessments, surveys, and feedback tools to capture participant performance and satisfaction. You will analyze training data to measure knowledge retention, identify areas for improvement, and ensure programs meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust M&E frameworks to monitor training activities and outcomes.
  • Develop and administer pre- and post-training assessments, surveys, and feedback tools to gather participant data.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to measure training effectiveness, knowledge retention, and participant satisfaction.
  • Identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement in training programs and recommend evidence-based adjustments.
  • Prepare and present accurate M&E reports for inclusion in Monthly Progress & Financial Reports and Quarterly Program Management Reports (QPMRs).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Public Health, Education, Data Science, or a related field; advanced training or certification in M&E or data analytics is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years in data analysis and monitoring & evaluation for training, capacity-building programs, or similar initiatives.
  • Knowledge of database management and survey tools (e.g., KoboToolbox, SurveyMonkey, or Google Forms).
  • Strong understanding of training-related metrics, learning outcomes, and performance indicators.
