Job Title: Support Operations Manager
OverviewThis role involves providing operational support to our team, focusing on managing the full lifecycle of contractors, including onboarding, compliance, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage onboarding workflows for contractors, ensuring timely completion of tasks and accurate record-keeping;
- Verify credentials, licenses, and certifications for school personnel, maintaining up-to-date records and communicating with contractors as needed;
- Coordinate background checks, TB tests, fingerprinting, and other pre-employment requirements, liaising with recruiters, account managers, and school district contacts to meet deadlines;
- Maintain accurate and organized records in internal systems and client portals, conducting routine audits to ensure compliance throughout assignments;
- Perform payroll support tasks, ensuring contractor information is complete and accurate, reviewing weekly timesheets, and coordinating with the payroll team for timely and accurate payment;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contractor pay-related questions, assisting with pay rate updates, stipend tracking, and contractor time off documentation;
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred;
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in an onboarding, compliance, or credentialing role required;
- Strong knowledge of school district onboarding and credentialing requirements preferred;
- Experience onboarding temporary employees across multiple states preferred;
- Familiarity with background check processes, fingerprinting requirements, and state-specific compliance laws;
- Knowledge of education compliance and credentialing regulations, including state departments of education preferred;
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and credential management tools;
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Clear written and verbal communication skills;
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, proactive approach to problem-solving;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
