About the Role

As a key member of our security delivery team, you will play a vital role in tailoring cybersecurity protocols to support client security journeys. This involves collaborating with clients to understand their operations and creating tailored security policies and procedures that meet their organization's needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement cybersecurity protocols (policies, procedures, and protocols) that align with their specific security requirements
  • Assist vCISOs in executing elements and projects within a comprehensive security program
  • Provide compliance audit readiness support as required, ensuring seamless execution of security protocols
  • Design and deploy phishing tests to clients regularly, leveraging your expertise in cybersecurity technologies
  • Provision, implement, and manage Vanta or similar GRC platforms for clients, driving efficient security management
  • Build new tools and techniques to automate human-intensive tasks, reducing manual effort and increasing productivity
  • Document best practice procedures for commonly used technologies to standardize deployment and enhance consistency
  • Identify system misconfigurations and provide actionable recommendations for clients, ensuring optimal security posture
  • Capture regular metrics highlighting key activities, measurable accomplishments, and blockers to inform strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with the security delivery team to design and develop service offerings through insightful feedback and a positive attitude

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to articulate secure best practices in various aspects of information risk management. As a certified partner, you will utilize the Vanta platform to expedite client compliance as part of the security program.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in Security Technologies, Information Security, Business Resilience, Technology Risk or related fields
  • External-facing client experience is essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal audiences
  • Understanding of cybersecurity domains, including Security Operations (on-premise and cloud), Security Engineering, Information Risk Management, etc.
  • Report Writing: Emphasis on Spelling, Grammar, Word usage, and the ability to write a summary that answers the Who, What, Where, When, How, and, to the best of your ability, Why
  • Strong intuition and ability to think outside the box are highly valued
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply

  • Intermediate coding/scripting skills to help automate processes and scale implementation efforts
  • Knowledge of technical system access controls and their benefits is desirable
