Accounting Assistant Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports.

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for processing buyer refunds, checking all required documents, and preparing entries for manual transfer payments of rebooked contracts.

  • They will also analyze and check cancelled orders with abnormal reversal documents and payment documents with no order generated.

  • Additionally, they will prepare and post set-up/reversal of RPT, Reduced penalty, consbond, Turnover fees and other fees.

  • They will also prepare entries for write-off of RPT charges and accounts receivable balances.

  • Furthermore, they will analyze negative balances/excess payments in AR aging report and prepare entry for adjustment.

  • Certificate of Total Payment/Certification and Prepare Eligibility Report is also part of their duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any four (4) year Bachelor's Degree related in Accountancy or any other related program.

  • With at least one (1) year of related work experience or highly trainable fresh graduates.

  • Has a good working attitude, ability to prioritize and organize effectively with minimum supervision.

  • Proficient in all MS Office applications and knowledge with SAP system is an advantage.

  • Amenable to work in Pasay City from Mondays to Fridays 9AM to 6PM.
